Algorithms are what decide which profiles appear and which do not appear on dating platforms like <strong>Tinder<\/strong>. Our search for love becomes a complex dance of algorithms that try to predict our preferences and desires.<\/li>\n<li>The purchase <em>focused<\/em>. The large online sales platforms such as <strong>amazon<\/strong> They use algorithms to show us products that might interest us. Preference for sellers with fast shipping through the program <strong>amazon<\/strong> <strong>Prime<\/strong> influences our decisions, forcing other sellers into the background.<\/li>\n<li>Network politics and\u00a0<strong>tiktok<\/strong>. Platforms like TikTok are fertile grounds for the propagation of extreme political narratives, often influenced by algorithms that give preference to provocative and polarizing content.<\/li>\n<li>Custom series marathon. Streaming platforms like <strong>Netflix<\/strong> They keep us immersed in a loop of series and movies based on our previous viewings. This can limit our exposure to new content and perspectives.<\/li>\n<li>Persistent advertising. Social networks like <strong>Instagram<\/strong> They bombard users with targeted ads based on their previous interactions. A simple search for a category, such as investment banking, can result in weeks of similar ads.<\/li>\n<li>Your algorithmic work future. On platforms like <strong>Spotify<\/strong>, algorithms recommend music based on our past preferences, creating a \u201cflat musical encephalography\u201d that could limit our exploration of new tunes.<\/li>\n<li>The surprising technological intuition. Mobile devices can listen to our conversations and use this data to offer us relevant content, even when we are talking about topics as delicate as mental health.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In an increasingly digital world, it is imperative that we become aware of how algorithms influence our lives and businesses.
