Claude vs ChatGPT: why at Imagina we use Claude more and more

For a long time, ChatGPT was our main AI tool at Imagina. And it’s still very good. But after working with both platforms on real client projects, we have been using Claude more and more in certain tasks.
Not because of a trend. For performance.
The difference is not only in generating text. It’s in how an AI handles context, coherence and operational work within a marketing and Social Media agency.

In this comparison of Claude vs ChatGPT, we explain why at Imagina we increasingly use Claude in strategy, content and documentation tasks.

The problem we started to notice with ChatGPT

In an agency you don’t work with simple prompts. You work with:

  • brand guides
  • campaign history
  • long briefings
  • internal documentation
  • multichannel copies
  • and complete strategies

And there we begin to detect friction.

Brand tone was degraded

ChatGPT understood the context well at the beginning, but in long projects the tone ended up getting lost. The first pieces worked well and the last ones seemed to be written for another brand.
With Claude we noticed more consistency.
And that is key when you manage content for clients where the brand voice must remain stable for weeks and on several channels at the same time.

I tended to validate too much.

Another problem was the lack of critical capacity.
ChatGPT often reinforces ideas even if they are mediocre. Claude, on the other hand, usually points out better:

  • weak arguments
  • generic copies
  • strategic mistakes
  • or unsound proposals

For an agency, that’s much more useful than an AI that simply says everything is fine.

Long projects performed worse

Many clients work with long documents:

  • audits
  • strategies
  • research
  • transcribed meetings
  • competition reports
  • internal processes

With ChatGPT it was common for some context to be lost or oversimplified.
Claude is much better at handling large volumes of information and maintaining coherence over long sessions.

Where Claude works best for us

Content strategy

Claude best understands projects where he needs to connect:

  • audience
  • positioning
  • competition
  • tone
  • objectives
  • accumulated context

This greatly improves the quality. content strategy.

Multichannel adaptations

Create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, email or web requires maintaining the same identity by adapting the language to each platform.
Claude usually does it more consistently.

Reports and analysis

In campaigns and reporting, Claude not only summarizes metrics. It also interprets patterns, detects possible errors and draws more useful conclusions for the client.

Internal documentation

It also works best for us:

  • SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • manuals
  • processes
  • onboardings
  • and extensive documentation

The structure is usually cleaner and less repetitive.

Claude is no longer just a chatbot

This is where we believe the most important change is happening.
Claude doesn’t just write. It is increasingly oriented towards executing real work.

Claude Code

With Claude Code you can work on complete programming projects:

  • review files,
  • understand structures,
  • refactor code,
  • automate tasks,
  • or help with internal tools.

It does not generate only snippets. Can participate in much more complex technical processes.

Computer use and automation

Claude is also advancing capabilities to interact with digital tools and environments.
In certain contexts you can:

  • review interfaces,
  • fill out forms,
  • move information,
  • update documents,
  • or perform repetitive tasks.

That brings AI much closer to a real operational assistant.

Business integrations

Another important advantage is its integration with tools such as:

  • Microsoft 365,
  • Google Workspace,
  • Slack,
  • Notion,
  • or Confluence.

This allows you to work with documentation and real company context, not just with isolated prompts.

So ChatGPT or Claude?

Our conclusion is simple:
There is no single best AI.
It depends on the job.
Today, in Imagina:

  • we use ChatGPT for quick tasks, automations and simple flows;
  • and we use Claude for strategy, long context, documentation, and critical review.

The key is not to follow trends.
The key is to understand which tool best solves each problem.

Why do some agencies use Claude more than ChatGPT?

Because Claude maintains context, brand tone, and consistency better on long projects. Additionally, it offers advanced capabilities for extensive documentation, automation, and operational work connected to real tools.
For us, Claude is not a replacement for ChatGPT. But it is becoming the most powerful tool for strategic work, documentation and management of complex context within an agency.
